A new specification for submission uploads has been released. CSV Specification - November 2024.

Changes include:

  • New column in PRC Submissions ‘National Metering Identifier (NMI)’.
  • New columns in both ESS and PRC Submissions of ‘Plumbing licence’, ‘Plumbing contractor licence’, ‘Electrician licence’, ‘Electrical contractor licence’, ‘Refrigerant handling licence’, Refrigerant licence and SAA accreditation.

These are required when the Implementation Date is on or after 1 November 2024.

We will be deploying the following new Fieldworker Attributes (where not already available) to capture licence details.

National Meter Identifier (NMI)

For this new column we are using the questions rolled out earlier in October 2024.

Plumbing licence and Plumbing contractor licence

The column Plumbing licence is mandatory for the following Activity Definitions:

  1. Method: HEER: D11, D12, D19, D20, D21, E6.
  2. Method: IHEAB: F8, F9, F17.
  3. Method: PDRS: WH1, RF2.

This column sources the licence details from the fieldworker attribute Plumber License Number.

For Work Types like ‘HWS Installation (Plumber)’, ‘HWS Installation (Combined)’, ‘HWS Installation (All-In-One)’ the Plumber is the assigned fieldworker.

The column Plumbing contractor licence is not mandatory and used to capture details of the supervising Plumber who issues the Certificate of Compliance (CoC).

We are deploying a new question Q.Are you issuing the (CoC) Certificate of Compliance using your Plumbing Licence? if not a second question is asked Q.Please choose the Fieldworker who will issue the (CoC) Certificate of Compliance? and returns fieldworkers who have the ability Superviser (Plumbing Work).

The chosen fieldworker will have their Plumber License Number applied into this column.

This column will only populate when contractor supervises an other if their self-supervising their licence is already in the prior column Plumber License Number.

Electrician licence and Electrical contractor licence

The column Electrician licence is mandatory for the following Activity Definitions:

  1. Method: HEER : D14, D15, D16, D17, D18, D19, D20, D21, E1, E2, E3, E4, E5, E11, E12, E13
  2. Method: IHEAB: F4, F17
  3. Method: PDRS: HVAC1, HVAC2, BESS1

The default for this column is to source the licence details from the fieldworker attribute Electrical License Number however for work types ‘AirCon Installation’ , ‘AirCon Installation (All-In-One)’ the fieldworker attribute Air conditioning and refrigeration licence is used.

For Work Types like ‘HWS Installation (Electrician)’ , ‘AirCon Installation’ , ‘AirCon Installation (All-In-One)’, ‘HEAB Installation’, ‘HEAB Installation (No Assessment)’, ‘CLU Installation’, ‘CLU Installation (No Assessment)’, ‘HEER Installation’ and ‘HEER Installation (No Assessment)’ the electrician is the assigned fieldworker.

For Work Types like ‘HWS Installation (All-In-One)’ or ‘HWS Installation (Combined)’ the electrician is the fieldworker who signs the electrician’s additional signature type during the appointment.

For new BESS1 Worktypes ‘Solar PV & Battery Installation’ and ‘Battery Only Installation ‘ the electrician is the assigned fieldworker.

The column Electrical contractor licence is not mandatory and used to capture details of the supervising Electrician who issues the Certificate Compliance Electrical Work (CCEW).

We are deploying a new question Q.Are you issuing the (CCEW) Certificate of Compliance Electrical Work under your own Licence? if not a second question is asked Q.*Please choose the Fieldworker who will issue the (CCEW) Certificate of Compliance Electrical Work? and returns fieldworkers who have the ability Superviser (Electrical Work).

The chosen fieldworker will have their Electrical License Number applied intp this column.

This column will only populate when contractor supervises an other if their self-supervising their licence is already in the prior column Electrical License Number.

Refrigerant handling licence and Refrigerant licence

The column Refrigerant handling licence is mandatory for the following Activity Definitions:

  1. Method: IHEAB: F4

This column sources the licence details from the fieldworker attribute Refrigerant handling licence number.

We are deploying new question(s) the first to verify that a disposal is required Q.Are you decommissioning any refrigerant air conditioner(s) that will require the refrigerant to be recovered and/or disposed??* and if required a second question, Are you qualified to perform the recovery and/or disposal of the refrigerant yourself, and will you be doing so?.

If their not using their licence a final question Please select the Refrigerant handler who will be doing the recovery and/or disposal of the refrigerant and returns fieldworkers who have the ability Refrigerant Handler.

SAA accreditation

The column SAA accreditation is mandatory for the following Activity Definitions:

For new BESS1 Worktypes ‘Solar PV & Battery Installation’ and ‘Battery Only Installation’ the electrician is the assigned fieldworker.

Actions to take

We will be deploying these changes after Monday 28th October, please review your fieldworker register and complete missing licence attributes and abilities.

NMI will be needed for PDRS jobs after 1st November the question have been available from middle of October 2024 please notify your staff to use them.
