New REST API

Dataforce has been working hard on providing a new way for you to integrate with our platform.

Although our old legacy API will still remain active (and will still be used by Runabout), the new and preferred way to integrate with Dataforce ASAP is via our new REST API.

This new REST API currently supports 38 different endpoints for accessing customers, appointments, jobs, files, fieldworkers, products, agents, clients, work types, and suburbs.

There are also endpoints for creating customers, jobs, appointments and files.

Dataforce will be adding additional endpoints over the coming months.

Improved Runabout Booking Error Handling

Property addresses that could not be verified on Runabout will now be prompted with a validation error allowing fieldworkers to submit the address or fix it.

New Form Data Providers

The new Receipts data provider will provide transaction and payment information. This can be used to produce receipts and show deposits details * Receipt (Single): For a single transaction ID * Receipt (All): For all the transactions within a job

New REES Activity Codes

We have added to our REES Code database the new 2021 scheme codes, for Lighting, Stand by Power Controllers, Showerheads, Water Heating and Air Conditioning.

New Appointment Search Filter

Added new search criteria ‘Assessments Not Invoiced’ to the Advanced Search Bar under the multi- filter dropdown. This will allow filtering on appointments where the assessment work type in the job has not been invoiced.

New Template variable for SMS Messages

A list of activities completed in an appointment can now be used as a variable {activity_list} in SMS templates for an installation appointment.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug preventing a user from removing the last question block from the area in the appointment questions screen.
  • Fixed a bug which prevented the user from deleting an unused file category.
  • Fixed a bug with the work type filter on RCTI invoice types not being applied consistently for agent and client invoices
  • Fixed a bug that would clear the comment on a photo uploaded from Runabout
  • Fixed a bug which would cause a products price change to effect the wrong appointment in a job when editing the price of a product in a callback appointment
  • Fixed a bug causing an incorrect name format when downloading files if a signature was included in the download.
