This guide covers the process for importing Sales Leads from and Excel file
Overview
- Sales Lead import should be used when wanting to import details of a lead that has been made outside Dataforce.
- This is done by using the provided spreadsheet template and inputting all of your sales lead information into it.
Importing a list of Sales Leads

Open the Sales Lead Import menu by clicking Admin Import/Export Sales Lead Import

Download the spreadsheet template by clicking the Microsoft Excel icon

Add the sales lead details to the spreadsheet
Refer to instructions in the import template for more details
Important:
Dark green labelled headers are required fields. Instruction (rows 4-6) rows must be deleted before submitting

- Click on Choose a file…, select the Excel file which contains your leads, then click ‘Import Sales Lead File’
Important:
To avoid an invalid address error, please select the “Validate Address” checkbox before submitting

- Ensure all the column mapping fields are correct and then click on Import Records
